I have purchased a lot of mesh bags lately from Target and Walmart in an effort to find an inexpensive mesh bag that won't fall apart on the first or even tenth wash. My success rate is pretty low. Approximately 75% of the bags I have bought have failed before their 5th washing use.Failures of typical mesh bags include:- Zippers break or go off track- Bag seams rip apart- Runs develop in the fabric which turn into holes- Zippers don't stay closed during washing and drawstring closures become knotted during washing. Then, I saw these bags and their guarantee and thought - I can pay more for a quality bag if it won't fall apart. The quality is pretty amazing. These bags have an elastic strap to tuck the zipper into and then up pull the zipper tab up and out of the elastic and they are basically locked shut. These bags will not open during wash cycles. The zippers are strong, not delicate like a lot of bags. The mesh is micro-sized and of thick sturdy quality, which offers more protection than most mesh bags on the market.UPDATE:04/22/16I had ordered 20 bags from Fishers Finery - We are putting them through their paces. They are being used for dyeing fabric and we are dyeing a lot right now. That means that each bag endures a 4.5 hour wash cycle, comes out, and goes right back into the next load. This process has been going on for weeks now. This is, I think the ultimate test for these bags.At first, we had some issues with the bags - a few did fall apart - as some 1-star reviewers have stated. I contacted Fishers Finery via the Buyer-to-Seller portal and they were quick to offer replacement bags. They said that they had improved the design of the bags and suspected that older stock had been kept and sold via Amazon. They sent out new stock to replace 5 bags, and so far those have been holding up with zero problems. However, the remaining 15 bags that we ordered continued to fail in the usual areas - the elastic strap that holds the zipper disintegrated (probably a stiching issue as elastic will unravel), seams ripped, and "runs" in the fabric developed.I contacted Fishers Finery via the Buyer-to-Seller portal to less than excellent results. Then, I picked up the phone and called them. They could not have been more helpful. I was able to tell them about the sales rep who was unhelpful, urged them to please not let this person communicate with Amazon buyers, and they sent out replacements for all 20 bags.I am impressed with the high level of customer service - the 1-year guarantee of quality - and the durability of the (new) bags that are being sold. So, if you had an issue with these bags - CALL the company and let them know. They will send out replacement merchandise ASAP and this will be "new stock" because it is coming direct from the company itself.I would buy these bags all over again, again and again. They do not compare to any other bag that I have tried - in terms of quality, ease of use, or design.
