I bought this for my wife. The size is a little small for regular size. I had to return to get her a larger size. I recommend, to get 1/2 size larger but they only had 1 size larger. For example If you are size 5, I recommend buying size 6. So it is slightly loose, but with a thicker socks it should fit well. The boot is comfortable and feel snug. So far the weather isn't rainy season so she was only able to test it less than an hour. Wearing it from the house to the car and to work which she then changes to regular shoe to do her work then changing it back again going home if it is still raining. Even for a short period of time, the boot still feels good.Since I was at a loss and waited to buy snow boots, I was forced to look online. I figured for the price these would be okay. They fit true to size I think. I wear 8.5-9 and I went with the 9 and I feel like I would have enough room with thicker socks. I have yet to actually wear them out in the snow but they seem like they will be warm!I ordered these a few month's ago and it just has gotten cold enough here with some ice and snow to wear them. They fit great except one of them rub's the back of my heel if it wasn't for this I would love them and give a 5 star. . I walked down iced over step's in them and they did not slide but got a little slippery once I cam inside.I took these boots with me to the mountains for a day of tubing in the snow, and they did a great job of keeping my feet dry and warm. I wore one pair of wool socks, and that didn't leave me any extra room for adding arch supports. Choose at least .5 size larger if you are adding orthotics or extra socks.nice simple winter boot but is not very durable. It does have fur liner inside which gives a little more warmth and more durble than regular rain boots but not as warm as real snow boots.I climbed down the side of a mountain in Tahoe (along the waterfall in the Emerald Lake / Glen Alpine area) and then hiked back up the same mountain, all while wearing these boots. I'm a California girl who likes to live in flip flops all year round but when my friends planned a trip to Tahoe I knew I needed some real snow boots, and these were perfect! HIGHLY recommended!!!I LOVE THESE BOOTS. Comfortable! Not waterproof but fairly water resistant. Had no issues in deep snow. I actually plan on getting another pair before Fall this year, just to have on hand! Nice and warm!My only advice is if you need inserts for arch support or anything in the boot, maybe get a size/half bigger.I was impressed by the packaging and the feel/make of them. I live in the DC area and these boots are light in weight but extremely sturdy to handle the cold and snow. They definitely kept my feet warm and dry on the days that I had to shovel 10"+ of snow. Definitely recommend these boots for anyone that lives/works/travels anywhere where it snows.
