I am addicted to Chinese Laundry shoes--I own over 30 pairs! I was looking for something kind of professional and kind of sassy and this shoe hit my expections out of the park! This particular shoe has a peep toe that has a little stretch for the upper part of the shoe. The ankle strap works perfectly as a little bit of stability and there is a heel cup so you're not sliding backwards all night. I'm a huge fan of high heels and these are definitely high--but they are very easy to walk in. CL shoes are almost always true to size, as mine are, and once you walk around for a few minutes you gain the confidence to walk in such a high heel. The fabric is tightly woven to the base and is not uncomfortable, and the strap is well crafted and lined with black fabric to prevent chafing. These are great heels for dressing up or down and they go with nearly everything. I highly recommend Chinese Laundry shoes.
