This boot is comfortable and true to size. I'm a 10 1/2 and had to get an 11, so it is ever so slightly big and therefore very slightly rubs the back of my heel but not making half sizes for large women's feet is a typical problem. I think if I get thicker socks that will make the fit perfect.They work well on snow and keep my feet warm and dry. They seem to grip well even on somewhat slippery conditions. They stay up on my calf (I am 5'10" and 175 pounds with average sized legs for my height and weight). The temps here have been in the 20s and 30s. Dipped into the teens and my feet stayed warm for the hour or so I was out.Because there is no zipper, they are a tiny bit difficult to pull off, so if you're elderly or disabled that could be an issue. You also must struggle a wee bit to get them on, but to me I prefer that over the boot being too loose.It is a bit puffy - being a "puffy" boot - so wearing cuffed sweat pants is problematic. They're tight enough that it's not easy to tuck the pants in, but puffy enough so I don't want to stretch the pant cuff around the outside. They go fine with jeans; my LLBean jeans legs go over them well enough. For me they work best with a base layer and skirt. This doesn't look terribly fashionable, but I didn't get them for fashion. I got them to tramp around the snow, and these are perfect for that. I have worn them alot already. I recommend them and I'd get them again.The overall foot part of the boot fits really well. I am a true 7 1/2 and since I have never purchased shoes from Dirty Laundry I got the next size up (8) though when I tried them on they were big. So I was a little to hesitant to order a 7, but I did and when I got them, they were perfect fit. The only con I would have is the calf part abut it is a littel snug so when I want to wear thick jeans its a little diffcult to pull up.I love this boot so much Own 5 pair in different Sykes and colors. Don't let the whole size only scare you off, I wear a 6 1/2 and the lining in the boot area will Mold to a 1/2 size larger if needed.They are so comfortable I wear the with shorts is I'm going to be on my feet all day!I ordered these for a winter/rain boot that would hold up in snow. Despite the other reviews, these fit perfectly and are true to size and I am a size 9. I like that the shaft of boot is stretchy and has a warm shearling lining. The boot itself is rubber making it waterproof. Good rubber sole for walking and traction. Comfortable, stylish, at a good price, and that's why I give it 5 stars! Easily fits over sweats and can be tucked into jeans.Great boots, comfortable and stylish.I love these for the rainy season, although I have learned that purchasing good insoles make them much more comfortable.Got a snowstorm just days after these arrived, and they were exactly what I had hoped for. Kept my feet warm and dry and I felt safe walking on the icy sidewalks.These boots definitely keep all types of weather out. I have been knee deep in snow in these boots and been completely warm and dry. The foot part is quite plastic-y and clunky, but that's what you're signing up for. Quite durable!
